# How to generate a Depth Map for your shot?

## Learn how to create a depth map for your shot using Slapshot.

The Depth Map feature allows you to generate a depth map for any shot, providing a visual representation of depth information.

Steps to Generate a Depth Map:

1. Select the shot you want to process.
2. Click on the **'Depth Map'** option.
3. Click on **'+Create Depth Map'** to initiate the process.
4. Once the process is completed, you can export the depth map in **JPG** or **MOV** format.
